After Central:
I went to work as a business forms salesman in Omaha, Nebraska. While there I married Linda Midunsky, Central Class of ’73, in 1974. We moved back to the Chicago area, where we both were from, in 1975. I once again worked in the business forms industry and became Vice President of the firm in 1978. In 1980 I left the company and started BRIDGE®.

I am still working 4 days a week at the company with my son RJ, who is the vice president of the company, and my son Derek who is the Director of Business Development. I love working with them and the rest of our staff and can take extended time away from the business.

Linda retired from teaching in May of 2011 and we taught school together in Budapest, Hungary at the International Christian School of Budapest for the fall term of the 2011-2012 school year. Linda taught ELL and I had 6th and 7th grade Old Testament Studies. We have had multiple opportunities to live in Hungary and Germany for several months at a time.

Family/Children
Linda and I have been married for 45 years and have 3 children, RJ (Denise), Trisha (Bjorn) and Derek (Lisa). We have 9 grandchildren from 13 to 3. Kaylen, Sophia, Lianna, Marcus, Alyssa, Josiah, Jack, Dylan and Selah. Trisha and Bjorn had been in Hungary for 13 years but have moved back to the US in June of 2018. We all live within 15 minutes of each other and are enjoying great family times together.

Phi Delta Tau / Central College Memories
I am flooded with so any memories. Some of it because I left Central in 1969 and returned in the fall of 1971 to finish and graduate in 1972. My college career spanned parts of six years and had a lot of great friends. That return to Central happened thanks to a whirl wind trip to the east coast with Todd Beverage and Tony Van Houweling. The entire trip Tony pressed me to return and get my degree. Thanks Tony and Todd!
I remember all the great fun at The Grill and Hunter’s. The genuine friendships, the crazy stunts, Homecoming Decorations, the responsibility of patrolling Lacqua, who, like Jerry, I miss. We all were thick as thieves and had a great time being so. My hope is that as we meet up again, we can capture some of the past and survive the experience to talk about it. Looking forward to seeing so many friends and having a blast from the past! My sides ache already.
